G reen colors
R ejoice in various shades
E vergreens grow and
E very tree’s leaves
N ow, this almost summer day
GREEN
predawn
and watching
the sky grow light
gift of another day
to read and write
painting the morning
with beauty and hope
watercolor sky
morning rain
reading familiar
poems of faith
morning stillness
forget-me-nots and
daylily plants grow
daffodils planted
in loving memory
bloom near the path
we shall meet again
they ask to be
in this poem
