POEMS FROM OOSTBURG, WISCONSIN

My Acrostic Poems is another site that may inspire poetry, and creative writing lessons in general.
writing poetry
sun shines on unfinished wood
around the window
raindrop balances
on a branch
almost autumn
cold
Lake Michigan winds
a tiny bird
seeks shelter
by the kitchen window
more colors of blue
in Lake Michigan today
than I can name
the wonder of always learning
dreaming new dreams
Two poems to follow my recent post, Short Poems.

I was reading from Haiku Society of America members anthologies.
My poem is reprinted from January 6, 2022.
