Sometimes when proofreading a post, it is helpful to be sure my work is saved, and then let the post rest for a time. This could be a short time – simply looking at the beautiful Norway spruce tree by the window. I also read aloud, and may see how I can edit and create a more clear post. I enjoy books and journals in my home library, and from our local library, as well as time here. Work in the kitchen and around the house. Gratitude and hope.

My haiku was published at Poems From Psalms And Nature on May 16, 2012. Reprinted in the book, The Helping Hand Haiku Anthology (Including Senryu, Tanka, and Haiga). Edited by Robert Epstein (2020, Middle Island Press). Karl and I also reprinted the poem in Quiet Christmas Poetry (2014).
Yes, I remember. I am grateful for blogs, and enjoy reading and writing here. I also am reading library books, and books and poetry journals from my home library. I buy both new and used books.
We began Poems From Oostburg, Wisconsin in December 2009. One of my goals was to reprint some of my poems, and say thank you to the editors and publishers. Perhaps a few new readers discovered their work as well.
Poems For Bulletin Boards began in April 2013. And now it is May 2023!
