Daily writing prompt
What is your favorite restaurant?

Over the years, we have enjoyed many good meals at restaurants in our area. Grateful for all. And I like being home now, and seeing the seasons in the yard when we share meals. Sometimes we bring good meals home from local places. I worked at a bakery in high school, and a restaurant in college. And I enjoyed shopping for my mother and preparing meals at her home during what I call “the caregiving years.”

And I will be watching for butterflies and bees in our gardens.

Books by Jan Karon

This Holy Week, I plan to read from Jan Karon’s book, Bathed In Prayer: Father Tim’s Prayers, Sermons, and Reflections from the Mitford Series (Author Copyright 2018; G.P. Putnam’s Sons, New York).

You can learn more about Jan’s books at Jan Karon’s Mitford site.

Yesterday, I wrote about The Mitford Museum and then spent more time learning about all their work. And more to learn!
