List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?

I pray the Psalms. And I have mentioned authors I have read for many years. Here are a few examples. I also read poetry journals and buy books from small presses.

Daily writing prompt
How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

Sometimes when proofreading a post, it is helpful to be sure my work is saved, and then let the post rest for a time. This could be a short time – simply looking at the beautiful Norway spruce tree by the window. I also read aloud, and may see how I can edit and create a more clear post. I enjoy books and journals in my home library, and from our local library, as well as time here. Work in the kitchen and around the house. Gratitude and hope.
